Kaku (核) is Taku's most powerful Pokémon, comprising the role of his team's ace. It gained notoriety during the Pokémon world championships where it utilized its gruesome stature to help rank Taku within the top 32 trainers of the entire Sinnoh Region. It has been with Taku ever since it was a Rhyhorn, though was traded away as a Rhydon in order to provoke the necessary emotions to undergo evolution. Kaku is heralded for his unmatched physical prowess, both in regards to offensive and defensive power. It is acknowledged as a force to be reckoned with, capable of sustaining several hits before showing any plausible signs of exhaustion.

Appearance Edit

Kaku has the appearance of the average Rhyperior, with the exception of a long blank band that is worn around his left bicep. This may have been done out of the blue, or simply to differentiate Kaku from the rest of his kin.

Personality Edit

Kaku is arrogant and often trying to prove itself in battle to other Pokémon. In his perspective, winning comes before all else, even at the risk of severely injuring oneself. It is with this sort of mentality that Kaku approaches every single one of his battles; aiming to win, the behemoth shows absolutely no mercy no matter who his foe may be. At times, Kaku has been seen disobeying Taku, instead opting to attack on his own accord, though this is usually done through self defense.

Trivia Edit

  • Kaku (核) can be translated to "stone".
